Overview

Southern part of Nepal Mahabharat range chepang people who are still nomad people but past two or three generations, They have begun to slowly shift from a semi-nomadic lifestyle to a more settled way of life, relying increasingly upon the production of permanent fields of maize, millet and bananas. The severe topography, however, has made permanent farming difficult the food is not sufficient, and the forest has remained an important (although decreasingly so) source of food for the Chepang. Historically, the collection of wild yams and tubers, fish caught from nearby rivers, bats and wild birds, and periodically wild deer hunted from nearby forests, have supplemented their need  With increasing populations, lack of arable land and few irrigation options, malnutrition has been a historic problem for the Chepang despite forest supplements. The Chepang have often been characterized as the poorest of Nepal’s poor and forced teenge pregency are common. Chepang men and women are basically egalitarian and no social ranking exists as it does in caste Nepalese society. Many Chepang cannot read and write due to a lack of education beyond elementary school, and this illiteracy stands in contrast to the great gains Nepal has been making in reducing

Royal chitwan National which has  600 plant species 43 species of large mammals, 530 species of birds, 49 species of reptiles and 150 different butterfly including one horned rhinos, Royal Bengal Tiger and Gharial Crocodile.


Details Itinerary

Day 01 We will pick up from airport and transfer to Hotel as per our confirmation after taking rest if time applicable you can walk around Thamel Evening dinner and planning for next day O/N

Day 02 Early Morning at 6 AM we take you to the yoga station 8;30 AM Breakfast and heading to sight seen in Valley ( Pashupatinath, Boudhanath, Swoyambhunath and Kathmandu durbar squire.O/N

Day 03 Drive to Chitwan 6 hours by tourist bus and transfer to Hotel in Chitwan, Sauraha.O/N

Day 04  Full day Jungle activities (Cannoning, Elephant ride, Tharu Village walk, Jungle walk).O/N

Day 05  Drive from Sauraha to Shaktikhor and overnight at family House O/N

Day 06 Shaktikhor to Upardang Gadhi and Overnight local house O/N

Day 07 Upardang Gadhi, Chisapanitar to Jyandala. Overnight local house or tent camp.O/N

Day 08 Jyandala, Siraichuli, Pang Sirang, Hattibang, Hugdi, Shaktikhor, local house or tent camp as you wish overnight stay in Chapang village.O/N

Day 09 Tourist bus drive back to Kathmandu by tourist bus and transfer to hotel.O/N

Day 10 Drop to Airport or extend your holiday
