Chitwan National Park


Nepal has set aside 10 percent of its land as National Park and wildlife reserves. These wildlife reserves have become very popular among nature lovers. Some of the most interesting and famous national parks are Chitwan National Park and Bardiya National Park. Chitwan National Park covered with thick forest and has an area of 1040 square kilometers. It has a diverse flora and fauna. The wildlife includes Royal Bengal Tiger, one horned Rhinoceros, Leopard, Gaur, Sloth Bear, Wild Boar, Sambar, Spotted Deer, the Gharial and over 400 species of birds. Bardiya National Park was formally a hunting reserve. It has a total area 961 Sq. kilometers. It has one of the finest sal forests with tracks of Savannah grassland. It houses the largest population of tigers in Nepal. The other less famous but equally interesting Wildlife reserves of Nepal are Koshi Tappu wildlife reserve, Suklaphant wildlife reserve, and Parsa wildlife reserve.

The fifth largest city of Nepal, as its district headquarters. It covers an area of 2,218 km2 (856 sq mi), Chitwan has a particularly rich for flora and fauna. Day 02: You may need to wake up call at 5 '0' clock after taking tea or coffee our guide will take you to Bird watching Chitwan is a house of birds it is very famous in the world thousands of tourists come here to see different birds.back to hotel Breakfast and taking you Elephant safari, an excellent opportunity to see four different kind of dear, rhinoceros, wild boar, monkeys, leopard, sloth bear, and the Royal Bengal tiger (if you are lucky) you will also encounter many other smaller mammals that have made Chitwan their home.19.00 - Tharu cultural dance presentation (which you can also participate in) by the local villagers or a slide show presentation.

Day 03: Early morning 05:30 - Wake up call. 06:00 - Tea/coffee followed by nature walk. An excellent Opportunity to see a great many of those 524 different species of birds found in Chitwan. 07:30 - Breakfast. 09:00 - Canoe ride along the Rapti flyer An excellent opportunity for bird watching and seeing the 2 rare species of crocodiles; the Marsh Mugger and the fish eating Gharial. 10:30 - Departure for onward journey.
