Overview

Everest  Panorama View Trek is the shortest trek in the Everest region which offers the amazing panoramic view of the famous world’s highest mountains Mt. Everest (8848m.), Lhotse, Makalu and other. In this trek, trekkers can enjoy the combination of the cultural, spiritual and natural beauty of the Everest region of Nepal. The friendly Sherpa people, picturesque villages, great variety of cultures and traditions, colorful festivals and monasteries of this region provide the lifetime memory to the visitors. Everest view trek can easily be completed with the moderate physical fitness as the highest altitude of this trekking trail is only 3870m in Tengboche monastery. During Everest view trek, in Tengboche monastery trekkers can enjoy the Mani Rimdu festival of the Sherpa people. The Dumje festival of the Sherpa people that falls in the month of April is another attraction of this trek. Beside this, trekkers can explore the culture, religion, and lifestyle of the Sherpa people of this region.

The short and easy Everest view trek begins with the scenic flight to Lukla from Kathmandu. Lukla is the entry point to the Everest region. From Lukla, we continue our trek through the Sagarmatha National Park which is forested by pine and rhododendron flowers. In this park you abundance of wild animals and birds like red panda, snow leopard, wild boar Danfe etc. the last point of this trekking is Tengboche which is home to the highest Buddhist monastery in the world (4100m.). From Tengboche you can observe the overwhelming beauty of Mt. Everest (8848m.) and its neighboring peaks Like Ama Dablam, Lhotse, Nuptse etc. the warm greeting and the friendly behavior of the Sherpa people adds further pleasure to the visitors. The best time to go for the Everest view trek is from mid-March to May and September to Mid-December.


Details Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival at TIA, Katmandu (1310m/4298ft).

Our airport representative will receive you at the airport and transfer to Hotel. It is 7km and takes about 30 minutes.Welcome/refreshment drinks will be provided upon the arrival at the hotel. The day will be tough with a briefing about the ongoing trek and arrangements will be made as accordingly.

Day 02: An early morning to Lukla from Kathmandu and trek to Phakding. (2610mtrs/8563ft).

Flight 30 minutes and walking 3 hours. The day for the trip starts with the early flight to Lukla from Kathmandu airport. You are requested to reach the airport 1 hour prior to the flight. It takes around half an hour to reach the Kathmandu airport. Assuming  that the flight departs without much delay. During your flight, you can see the magnificent view of the Himalayas on your way to Lukla and a half hour of your flight will land you at Lukla airport. You can have an early lunch at the Lukla bazaar with several restaurants and hotels serving international standard of meals. A trail starts with the walking gently up and down. You will leave behind with the prayer flag, paintings and passing through the farmlands. A 45 minutes walk will welcome you to CHHEPLUNG village and further, a deed  passing the bridges and some rivers will reach you to GHAT and finally to PHAKDING.

Day 03: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3440m/11286ft). walking 5:30 hours.

The trails from Phakding is very pleasant as it passes through the hillside, past farmsteads, and fields. After  a mile from Phakding, ZAMPUTE  stands in your way. It is from here that the path leads up to Gumela and Pema Choling Monastery. Then the trails climb a bit, then descends across a small settlement of TOKTOK. Further ahead is a beautiful   village BENKER. Soon , after a gentle climb, you are in CHUMOA that lies in the bushes of rhododendron and pine trees. A climb after crossing a bridge is MENGO and an entrance of SAGARMATHA NATIONAL PARK. A couple of hour walks from MENJO will take up you to Namche Bazaar.

Day 04: Acclimatization day at Namche Bazzar. walking 5 hours.

It is recommended to take an altitude acclimatization rest day in Namche. Although no more than a village, the Sherpa capital has two museums, several internet cafes, and, at last count, two pizza houses and three cafes (locally known as bakeries), so there is much to keep you occupied during your stay here. Namche also has two official money changers, so it is a good place to stock up on local currency for the days ahead (NB: Lodges and restaurants in Khumbu only accept Nepali Rupees). There is also a reasonable selection of English books, though the prices are higher than in Kathmandu. From Syangboche you can see Mt. Everest(8848m), Lhotse(8516m), Ama Dablam(6814m), Thamserku(6618m) and more mountains. Have a tea and coffee in the Everest view hotel. The trail descends half an hour to the Khumjung village (3780m), the village of the Sherpas, the worldly renowned climbers. In Khumjung village, you can visit Kumjung Hillary School and Kumjung Gompa.

Day 05: Trek to Tengboche (3860m/12664ft). walking 5 hours.

Today you can see very close up view of Thamserku (6618m), Ama Dablam(6814m). Also, you can see Mount Everest (8848) and other world high mountains. On the way, you can see Nepal national bird Pheasant and mountain animal called Himalayan Thar. The trail contour through the yak pasture land until Kyangjuma (3550m). From Kyangjuma the trail goes to all the way down to the Dudha Koshi. After crossing long suspension bridge then the trail ascends through the pine trees. The magnificent view of Kangtega (6783m) right side of the trail. Two and half hour walking you will arrive to Tengboche(3860m). Tengboche is famous as the name of Tengboche Monastery. This monastery is open for the visit after four o’clock in the afternoon. Visiting Tengboche Monastery is a exciting part of your journey. At evening you will be able to see exciting sunset on the top of the word and other high mountains.

Day 06: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3440m/11286ft). walking 6:30 hour.

Day 07: Trek to Phakding (2610m/8563ft). walking 5 hours.

Day 08: Trek to Lukla(2840m/9317ft). Walking 3:30 hours.

Day 09: Early morning 7.00 am fa light from Lukla to Kathmandu. Rest of the day at leisure and shopping.

Day 10: Transfer to the TIA for final departure.

You will have a pick up from the hotel to the airport for your journey to your country. Wishing for the safe and happy journey.
